I, the Dream Decoder, have personal experience with lucid dreaming. How do you know if you are lucid dreaming? Easy. You know you are dreaming while you are in the dream. You are conscious. A this point, at least for me, I become hyper observant, but still somewhat limited in cognitive faculties. In other words, I become super aware of how it feels to be in the dream but I don’t have full use of my memory. I am always astounded to realize that it feels the same as if I was awake, except upon waking I realize that many elements of “reality” weren’t present, like the details of my surroundings perhaps. Not that they didn’t exist in the dream, but they don’t seem to translate to my waking memory and so details become cloudy.
Point, in fact, I was lucid last night while dreaming.
The dream itself began with my own awareness that I was indeed dreaming. I remember thinking to myself, “Oh, I hope I don’t wake up before I have time to check things out here.” Then, inexplicably, my brother (who died 6 years ago ) walked through the door. I was so very happy to see him. I gave him a big hug and asked him if he had seen my son whom I think resembles his uncle. I asked him if he could be my brother again, implying in a future life or something. He simply replied no. It must have gone on a bit longer, the conversation, but what I remember next is that the space between his eyes began sinking in and a black whole appeared in the space where his third-eye would sit and as it sank in, his right eye became blacked and bruised right before my eyes. The next thing I remember was waking up with a very strong desire to wake my mom at 3 am with news of this visitation. So I did.
Rather than explain to you what I think my dream means, this time I would like to invite any of my fans or readers to decode this one for me. So if you are willing to give it a shot, please do so in the comments!
I look forward to reading your decodings!
